Serving size: one medium pizza, cut into 8-12 slices
Ingredients:
1 (12-ounce) NY strip steak
Canola oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
6 ounces fresh arugula
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup crumbled blue cheese
Balsamic vinegar
1 prepared pizza crust
Instructions:
Light a grill or preheat grill pan. Brush the steaks with canola oil and season with salt and pepper. Cook the steak on high heat until it is lightly charred. Approx. three-four minutes each side for med. rare. Set steak aside to rest 15 minutes.
Using half the fresh arugula spread evenly across pizza.
Top the pizza with shredded mozzarella cheese.
Thinly slice NY strip steak against the grain and spread evenly on pizza.
Add crumbled blue cheese evenly on pizza.
Bake in a 425 preheated oven for eight minutes.
After removing from oven top the pizza with remaining fresh arugula.
Drizzle pizza with balsamic vinegar.
Slice and serve.
